wow...its been a month...

...hard to believe its been a month since i last posted...so much to cover...

...let me start with the four friends who recently visited our backyard...keep in mind we have a fenced in yard that is surrounded by other fenced in backyards...we must have stood and watched them for a 1/2 an hour!
...kim and robert are coming up in early april...kim is so damn cute pregnant...they are so excited and so are we...its going to suck not being closer to them (proximity wise) once that sweet evan robert is born...i copied this picture off kim's facebook page...see how cute she is!

...bob is still job hunting...while he looks for something more permanent he is starting a job monday delivering papa johns pizzas...he will be working most nights...he has a couple of other leads so keep your fingers crossed for us! the kids have LOVED having bob here so much...

...speaking of the kids...here's the run down...

...kate wills is so exhausting...lol...but so much fun to be around...she is preparing for two upcoming dance competitions...she will be performing two dances with her team and one solo...she is so excited and working two to three nights a week right now to be ready! she loves school and is constantly playing with friends...she is playing softball this spring and bob is helping coach her team...i offered, but she just laughed...since she sees bob coach the boys, she can't imagine "her mom" coaching...she makes me laugh...

...jake wills is so funny...his wit seems to be maturing along with his body...he has grown two inches in six months...he is playing basketball and playoffs started today...they won and will play again Tuesday night...he has been participating in baseball workouts all winter and has his first tournament in less than a month! i am very excited for baseball season!! jake will also be playing soccer this spring in order to stay on the team he played with this past fall...so jake will be very busy and having a ton of fun!!

...connor wills is such a teenager...but i can't complain...he gets great grades and is loved by many...but my goodness, he loves to test us! he is on the middle school basketball team and loving every minute of it....he has been asked to play on an AAU basektball team this Spring and will also be playing travel baseball...he is very fun to hang out with (90% of the time!)...and i have to say...the boy still hugs me in front of his friends and tells me he loves me...gotta love that about him!

...and me...well...if you figure that between my three kids there will be six sports (including dance)...it should be a very interesting spring! its not news to anyone that bob and i thrive staying busy, so we're ready for it...we just have to get bob a steady job and then it will all hopefully fall into place...i am very happy teaching third grade at urbana...i have a great team of teachers that i work with and i love teaching the magnet population...honestly, my favorite "free time" is spent sitting in the family room, watching tv with bob with my laptop in my lap! i got a job for the summer...the program that i was involved in last summer...the Maryland Writing Project...i earned six credits and i became such a better teacher of writing...and now they've asked me to intern with the program this summer...i'm very excited!

...enjoy these recent pictures...we hit the national zoo on president's day...and saw seven precious lion cubs and i think we could have stood and watched them all day!!

have you (all three of you) ever visited my classroom blog? take a peek....

Happy February!

There are so many things going on with us these days...lots of basektball, dance, baseball workouts, Valentine's Day, a tease of Spring, and more winter...ugh.

Jake and Connor are both having such great seasons...some wins, some losses...but lots of good ball playing! Both age groups are so fun to watch...Jake's team executed plays today and looked like they have been playing like that all season...it was awesome! Connor's team is 12-3...they are having a great season...tought loss tonight, but they'll rally back!

Kate is busy learning her competition solo...its the "Itsy Bitsy Spider"...James Brown's version...it is full of spunk, just like our girl. Her team will do two dances and she will do her solo. There are two competitions...one in the beginning of April and one at the end. I am excited for her...and she just loves competing! (Wonder where she gets that?)

Both boys attend baseball workouts every weekend and sometimes during the week...Jake's first tourney is in one month...hard to believe that the baseball season is coming up so fast...I can't wait...I love to watch the boys play ball. And guess what? Kate Wills is going to play softball...why softball and not baseball? Duh..."softball outfits are so much cuter, Mom." Will be a busy, but very fun season! (Did I mention Jake is also playing soccer and Connor is also playing AAU basketball?...Yeah, we're nuts.)

Valentine's Day was fun...we Wills' love hard and so its fun to celebrate a day all aobut love.

This past Friday it was 70 degrees and all the kids put on shorts and welcomed Spring...psyche. Back to 30 degree temps today...and snow in the forecast...ugh...

Bob is still job hunting...if you are one of my three readers and feel so inclined...send up some prayers...he could use a break in the job search.

Peace...
