A fun couple weeks...

Check out the latest "goings on" in the Wills' house...I feel badly there aren't a lot of Connor Wills pictures...but lately he's on the ballfield, and his games are SO exciting, I forget to take pictures!!
Jake's Christmas present from Christmas 2008 was put into the ground!!
We haven't seen Jake since...

Urbana Elementary celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Great Heron Wetlands on our school property. Students who have graduated our school were invited back for the day...so Connor was here, too! He worked for Mr. Esko and gave tours of the Wetlands. In the afternoon, we had a Native American POW WOW that was so much fun...that's Jake next to the gentleman from the POW WOW.

On Saturday, Kate Wills participated in the "Starpower" Competition...can you say
FIRST PLACE!??!

And of course, Sunday was Mother's Day...we had brunch with Granny and dinner with Grandma...I got to spend the whole day with family...it was perfect.
Today, Kate and Daddy went to Butler's Orchard! They learned about strawberry plants, planted strawberry plants, and picked strawberries!! They had a wonderful time!

I hope this post finds your family well and doing lots of fun things...
...'til next time...

Are you as lucky as I am?!

Are you as lucky as I am?
I can't imagine you are...
"Why am I so lucky?" you ask.
Let me spell it out for you...
This is my MOM...Enough said.

Aberdeen 2010

Words cannot begin to describe this weekend...but I'll give it a go...

Jake's U9 travel team was in a tournament at Cal Ripken's facility in Aberdeen, MD...and the experience was unbelievable. They played three games and went 2-0-1...they were seeded 3rd in the championship bracket and lost to the #2 seed in the semi finals...

While we were there the boys played beautifully...our team got to play in Cal Sr.'s Yard, which we found out is quite a privilege...we met a team that was there for the third time and still hadn't played in that stadium...it is a miniature version of Camden yards and I'm not sure who was more excited...the boys or the parents!

Not only do we have a great kids and a great group of families, we have a ton of grandparents who travel to watch our games...both sets of Jake's grandparents stayed over Saturday night and were there for the games...we love you Granny, Pop, Grandma, and Chippy.

The loss this afternoon was a hard one, but we are so proud of this team...and can't wait to go again next year! Enjoy the video...click on the words Aberdeen 2010 below....
