From basketball...to baseball...

So...the past two weekends have been spent on baseball fields...Jake and Connor played in a tournament last week in Annapolis, and Connor played in a tournament today in Taneytown...and although not many of the games were ones for the W column...both boys looked great...and both are amazing pitchers (if I do say so myself!)...see for yourself...
Jake Carey pitching...

Connor pitching...

And in other breaking news..."Little Miss" has had two major things happen in her life since my last post...
1. she lost her SIXTH tooth...look at this grin...

2. she not only learned to tie her shoes today...

...she can double-tie!!

"He Who Never Gets Sick"...is sick.

So...Bob has a prostate infection...and its not very fun...he has been in pain and feverish for 4 days now...changed antibiotic yesterday, so hoping that he will start to feel better soon...but let's be clear on something...sickness will not stand in the way of...wait for it...

THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!
Tomorrow, at 11:45 am, at Centerville Elementary...Connor Wills' team (coached by the enlarged prostate himself) will play for the league championship...and I have a good feeling about it!! Keep your fingers crossed for the outcome we're all hoping for...its been such a great season!
I'll post Sunday night (at the latest) with the results...or you could be really "cave-like" and call me! :-) Have a great weekend!

Hawks win first playoff game!

I had every intention of taking lots of pictures of Connor in his game tonight...but between the incredibly exciting game and the fact that my husband emailed me every TWO minutes asking what was going on in the game...I only got the one picture...right before the game started, Connor read a letter Bob had written to the team...in case you're one of my two readers and you don't know...Bob is the head coach...but he is in Portland, Oregon for his annual meeting. So...that being said...this is the only picture I took...because the rest of the game I was cheering loudly or emailing Bob...and with 6 minutes left I finally called him and gave him play by play for the rest of the game...Lace and Marc did a great job with the boys and the boys played with their whole hearts...they wanted it badly. Next game, Sunday at 3pm...GO HAWKS!!
