Merkel Family Reunion

My mother-in-law is one of SEVEN kids...and today, all SEVEN and their families all got together for a Merkel Family Reunion...it was a blast!

Pat and Chip rented the rec center on Sligo Creek right near their house...we had a playground, basketball courts, we played wiffle ball and lots of corn hole...we ate great food and had wonderful conversations with aunts, uncles, and cousins we don't see near enough...many of these family members traveled great distances to be here today...California, Colorado!! A great time was had by all. I only have a few pictures, but am hoping to get more! Enjoy!

Jake takes Annapolis...

Tuesday of this past week, Jake and I traveled to Annapolis with his class. It was very cold and wet, but we had a great time and learned lots of Maryland history...his class is a great group of kids and they were SO well behaved, especially since the weather was so miserable...enjoy the pix!

Meet Brooke May Taylor....

So, for my two or three readers out in cyber space...here's the latest Wills' news...my cousin, Shannon, and her husband, Andy, became first time parents one week ago today.

Brooke May Taylor is the newest member of our family!

We are thrilled to have Brooke join our big clan,

and we look forward to having our kids grow up together.
